Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Operative

Location: Hunslet, Leeds
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Flexibility required between 6:00am – 6:00pm)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Overtime: Paid at enhanced rates for hours worked over 40 per week

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a busy, dusty, industrial environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives on precision and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weighing and measuring raw materials and products with high accuracy

• Maintaining accurate written records and logs — excellent written English is essential

• Operating machinery and following production processes

• Supporting general manufacturing tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Comfortable working in a dusty and physically demanding setting

• Excellent written English skills for recording items and completing documentation

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• FLT Counterbalance licence preferred but not essential

• Willingness to work flexible hours as required
